As we meander our way through LA for the next few days, I can't help but dream of a cozy little patio to enjoy the warmer months back home on the east coast! I had so much fun designing Eunice's patio (more to come on the thought process behind that!) and most of this is a nod to that design. Warm woods, rattan, some fun patterns and always, always, always lanterns (or string lights)!
Can we talk about this World Market rug? How perfect? I almost couldn't believe it when I saw it for the first time. What a great little piece to have on a patio OR literally anywhere else in your home. Having an indoor/outdoor rug simply means it's easy to clean - great for kids/pets and/or high traffic areas (hella thinking of using this in a client's entryway when given the chance).
This swinging chair may seem impractical to some, but I got to test it out when I went to meet Eunice and see her space after it was all designed (the wonders of e-design, y'all). I can tell you that it's AS MUCH FUN AS YOU CAN IMAGINE! Throw a couple pillows on there and you can really sit there and sway back and forth reading a book. A place to prop your feet like this adorable white/wood stool is perfect for lounging.
These woven white/wood chairs from World Market are outrageously stylish and so affordable, I can hardly contain myself. Put one of these perfect blue ikat pillows on them and consider me there every sunset with my beer/wine.
