This starting idea board was one of the original boards I created for Jenna Colgrove's new Chicago guest room / office space. While we ended up going a different direction (it happens all the time!), this one always stuck with me as a contender! It turned out to be similar to that of Julia Engel's bedroom in San Francisco, and don't even get me started on these blush World Market dining chairs - splendid.
A simple headboard in a neutral, modern color (hello grey) is mixed with these preppy shams and fun printed pillow that's a bit of a nod to batik textiles. I'm all for a textured white anything - this time it's a lamp, and a simple/classic nightstand. The abstract art and side chairs add some color and personality to the overall neutral space! You can always count on World Market for stylish, affordable finds, right?!
